ANTS ON A ROCK 

Known as Slave Maker Ants, sanguinea, will often inhabit and takeover, or steal brood from established colonies. Found throughout the northern hemimshpear, often in wooded (Pine) areas.

Humidity requirements: 50 – 60% 

Temperature requirements: 20 – 26 °C

Hibernation: From November until March

Nutrition:  Sugars from honey or sugar water. Protein from insect sources such as Waxworms, Mealworms or Dubia Roaches.

Queen size: 9-11 mm • Worker size: 6–8 mm
