Messor angularis

Messor angularis commonly known as The Kenyan Harvester Ant.
Much less common than other Messor sp, mainly due to their drier conditions needed.
This species comes Bicolored as standard much like some Messor barbarus.
Like all Harvester Ants, They require a constant source of seeds, other foods can be given on rare occasion, with the bulk of their diet being "Ant Bread" made from crushing seeds.
Humidity requirements: 50 – 60%
Temperature requirements: 24 – 30 °C
Hibernation: None
Nutrition: They mainly eat seeds which they grind down to make ant bread. Sugars from honey or sugar water. Protein from insect sources such as Waxworms, Mealworms or Dubia Roaches.
Queen size: 11–12 mm • Worker size: 5–9 mm • Major size: 9–14 mm
Monogyne/polygyne: Monogyne (One Queen per colony)
